About The Position

Responsible for the daily operation of the gas station. Duties include opening and closing procedures, monitoring and maintaining equipment, assisting members with transactions and payments, and complying with safety, environmental, and security standards. Availability is needed from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and weekends. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. Team members may also work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to complete all required training.
• Previous gas station operating experience preferred.
• Experience operating a cash register preferred.
• May require occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, long periods of sitting or standing, and some bending.
• May involve exposure to indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather, flammable liquids, and strong smells.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service and promptly assist members.
• Protect people, property, and the environment while assisting with gas station transactions.
• Monitor sales transactions and handle cash transactions when applicable.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and perform custodial duties as needed.
• Monitor gas station reporting, ensure reports are generated, and complete checklist procedures.
• Document and address identified issues.
• Accurately perform opening and closing procedures.
• Regularly monitor and maintain gas station equipment.
• Oversee fuel deliveries and complete required preparation procedures.
• Follow gas station safety, environmental, and security standards; inform management and the help desk about alarms.
• Perform cash drawer procedures, including deposits, verification, documentation, and control.
• Conduct daily competitive price surveys and ensure posted fuel prices and club signage match the POS system.
• Follow spill bucket and spilled-material procedures, including immediate response and cleanup.
• Log visitors and verify identification before allowing access to the kiosk area.
• Notify the corporate office about non-routine maintenance vendor visits, including visits by weights-and-measures personnel, inspectors, and state employees.
• Follow all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Support club policy compliance, member service, safety, inclusion, teamwork, and daily GOLD Member and Club Standards.
• Access and read department production and/or financial performance reports and understand how execution affects business results.
