About The Position
The Gas Station team member is responsible for the daily operation of the gas station, including opening and closing procedures, monitoring and maintaining equipment, helping members with transactions and payments, and following safety, environmental, and security standards. The role also includes handling cash procedures, monitoring reports, overseeing fuel deliveries, maintaining cleanliness, responding to spills, checking visitor identification, and reporting alarms or maintenance visits. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional member service and promptly assist members with gas station transactions while ensuring the safety of people, property, and the environment.
- Monitor gas station sales transactions and handle cash transactions when applicable.
- Maintain restroom cleanliness and perform custodial duties as needed.
- Monitor gas station reporting, ensure reports are generated, complete checklist procedures, and document and address identified issues.
- Accurately perform opening and closing procedures.
- Regularly monitor and maintain gas station equipment.
- Oversee fuel deliveries and perform required preparation procedures.
- Follow gas station safety, environmental, and security standards, and inform management and the help desk when alarms are present.
- Perform cash drawer procedures, including cash deposits, verification, documentation, and control procedures.
- Conduct daily competitive price surveys and ensure posted gas prices and club signage match prices in the point-of-sale system.
- Follow spill bucket and spilled material procedures, including immediate response and cleanup.
- Log visitors and verify proper identification before allowing anyone into the kiosk area.
- Notify the corporate office of non-routine maintenance vendor visits, including visits by weights and measures personnel, inspectors, and state employees.
- Maintain club policies and procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Support club policies, procedures, and compliance; act honestly and with integrity; promote a safe, positive, inclusive, and respectful environment; and collaborate with the team.
- Deliver service excellence, address and de-escalate member concerns, and follow GOLD Member Standards.
- Help maintain club standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
- Understand how to access and read departmental production or financial performance reporting and how consistent execution affects the business.
