About The Position

The Garment Technician delivers, unloads, and organizes garments in their designated areas. The role includes staging industrial garments in the B13 Warehouse by drop zone and size, delivering clean garments to drop zones across the campus, removing soiled bags from those locations, and returning the bags to B13. The technician may work individually or with a team, follow direction and supervision, maintain a clean work area, and fill in during staff shortages. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

No education requirement.
Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Complete all safety and task training certifications.
A valid driver's license may be required based on business needs; employees who drive must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
May be required to be forklift certified.
Able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Six months to one year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Break down Prudential Tall Boys in the B13 Warehouse.
Stage industrial garments in the B13 Warehouse by drop zone and size for delivery.
Deliver clean industrial garments to drop zones throughout the campus.
Remove soiled bags from campus drop zones and return them to B13.
