Games Attendant
About The Position
At Main Event, Games Attendants work on the games floor, helping create fun experiences for Guests. They learn about the games and entertainment options, recommend activities based on Guest interests and needs, monitor activities and safety protocols, and provide redemption suggestions so Guests can choose prizes. The role includes keeping games and related areas clean, stocked, and safe; assisting Guests; performing minor repairs; reporting damage and wear to the Technical Team; and completing opening, mid-day, or closing duties. Team Members are expected to uphold cleanliness and safety standards and welcome and engage with Guests.
Requirements
- A guest-focused mindset.
- Technology savvy and willing to learn new things.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
- Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor activities such as Laser Tag, Mini Golf, Gravity Ropes, Escape Rooms, Gel Blasters, and Rock Climbing to ensure they are stocked, clean, and safe.
- Provide exceptional service and create memorable Guest experiences.
- Keep the games and Winner’s Choice clean and stocked.
- Assist Guests with questions about point redemption.
- Perform minor repairs to games and laser tag vests.
- Partner with the Technical Team to report wear and tear or damage to games and equipment.
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
- Welcome and engage with Guests as an ambassador of FUN.
- Perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties.
- Recommend games, entertainment options, and prizes based on Guests’ interests and needs.
