About The Position

Game Techs, also referred to as Gaming Support Techs or Midway Techs, repair and maintain the building’s games, simulators, and technical equipment. They assist Guests and help maintain ideal player conditions in the Midway while delivering a positive Guest experience. The role includes game maintenance, general store upkeep, merchandise and supply support, and communication with Guests, Team Members, and Managers. Technical and/or electrical skills are preferred but not required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team Members.
Must be friendly and able to smile while working.
Must be able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
Must be able to work off an extension ladder, function in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions, move about the facility, and stand for long periods.
Must be able to read and write handwritten notes.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain amusement equipment, games, simulators, and technical equipment in a timely manner.
Assist Guests with requests and questions, make recommendations, communicate wait times and other information, and provide a friendly and enthusiastic experience.
Load and refill tickets in redemption games and secure ticket storage areas.
Notify a Manager of Guests who appear unhappy and promptly inform the immediate supervisor of significant problems or unusual matters.
Stock, display, and secure merchandise; conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts when applicable.
Check and restock necessary supplies and bring work areas up to standard.
Review the cleanliness and organization of Midway games and ensure games are clean and unobstructed.
Position and set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales.
Assist with daily maintenance and organization of the tech room and storage areas.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly game maintenance as directed by management.
Assist with general store maintenance and support other Team Members as needed.
Maintain a cooperative and harmonious working relationship with other Team Members.
