About The Position

Dave & Buster’s Gaming Support Techs, also known as Midway Techs, repair and maintain the building’s games, simulators, and technical equipment. They assist Guests and maintain ideal player conditions in the Midway while delivering timely, friendly service. The role also includes stocking and securing merchandise, maintaining game cleanliness and displays, and carrying out scheduled game and general facility maintenance as directed by management. Team Members may work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to communicate clearly with Guests and other Team Members.
Must be friendly and able to smile while working days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
Must be able to work off an extension ladder.
Must be able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.
Must be able to move about the facility and stand for long periods.
Must be able to read and write handwritten notes.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Technical and/or electrical skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver a positive Guest experience in an environment focused on food, drinks, and games.
Keep the immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives where appropriate.
Provide timely, accurate service; manage wait times and communicate information to Guests, Team Members, and Managers.
Greet Guests positively and enthusiastically, including when they enter the Midway.
Repair and maintain amusement equipment in a timely manner.
Load and refill tickets in redemption games and secure ticket storage areas.
Assist Guests with requests, answer questions, and make recommendations.
Bid farewell to departing Guests, check their satisfaction, and invite them to return.
Notify a Manager about Guests who appear unhappy.
Stock, display, and secure merchandise in storage areas.
Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts, if applicable.
Check and restock necessary supplies, bring areas up to standard, and discuss problem areas with a Manager.
Review the cleanliness and organization of Midway games and ensure they are clean and unobstructed.
Position and set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales.
Assist with daily maintenance and organization of the tech room and storage areas.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly game maintenance safely and efficiently as directed by management.
Assist with general store maintenance as directed by management.
Assist other Team Members as needed and maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship.
