About The Position

Gaming Support Techs, also known as Midway Techs, repair and maintain the building’s games, simulators, and technical equipment. They assist Guests and maintain ideal player conditions throughout the midway. The role combines equipment maintenance with Guest service, merchandise and supply support, and general facility upkeep. Team Members should be friendly, communicate clearly, and work cooperatively with colleagues. Technical and/or electrical skills are preferred but not required. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly with Guests and other Team Members.
Must be able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
Must be able to work off an extension ladder.
Must be able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.
Must be able to move about the facility and stand for long periods.
Must be able to read and write handwritten notes.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Technical and/or electrical skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver a positive Guest experience in an environment centered on food, drinks, and games.
Keep the immediate supervisor informed about problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives when appropriate.
Provide timely and accurate service, manage wait times, and communicate information to Guests, Team Members, and Managers.
Greet Guests warmly upon entering the midway and assist with requests, questions, and recommendations.
Repair and maintain amusement equipment in a timely manner.
Load and refill tickets in redemption games and secure ticket storage areas.
Say farewell to departing Guests, check that their experience was satisfactory, invite them to return, and notify a Manager about Guests who appear unhappy.
Stock, display, and secure merchandise; conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts when applicable.
Check and restock supplies, bring work areas up to standard, and discuss problem areas with a Manager.
Review midway games for cleanliness and organization, ensuring games are clean and unobstructed.
Position and set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales.
Assist with daily maintenance and organization of the tech room and storage areas.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly game maintenance safely and efficiently as directed by management.
Assist with general store maintenance as directed by management.
Assist other Team Members and foster a cooperative working relationship.
