The Game Day Operator runs the court and welcomes athletes on game night. Depending on the needs of the evening, the Game Day Lead assigns the operator to the score table, check-in, or floor setup. The role ensures games are accurate, on time, and streamed, while helping athletes feel welcomed throughout the evening. The League Manager hires, schedules, and develops operators; the Game Day Lead trains and leads them on the floor. Strong performance can provide a path into floor leadership. The operator runs the scoreboard, game clock, BallerTV stream, and scoresheet; helps set up and break down the gym; assists with check-in and athlete questions; and moves between duties as assigned so every court and the entrance are covered. Operators must complete training, a shadow shift, and certification before their first solo shift. The position is permanent part-time, on site at the assigned venue for the full game-night shift, generally from approximately 6 p.m. to midnight, including weekends.
