About The Position

The Galaxy Grill Crew Member provides prompt, courteous service to guests, trainees, and employees. The role performs food preparation, general food-service operations, and cafeteria-line duties while meeting cleanliness, sanitation, accuracy, and timeliness expectations. The position has no supervisory responsibilities and requires no travel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact effectively and courteously with guests, trainees, and employees.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cashier experience is strongly desired.
• Some food-service experience (0–3 months) is desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food-service areas and equipment in accordance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Acknowledge guests, trainees, and employees promptly and interact with them courteously and professionally.
• Respond to and, whenever possible, resolve guest questions and complaints promptly.
• Complete tasks and assignments accurately and on time in accordance with Food Service Management Team expectations.
• Prepare assigned foods accurately and promptly according to expected guest numbers, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner items.
• Set up and break down cafeteria work areas, including serving lines, salad bar, beverage service, disposables and condiments, and dining tables and chairs.
• Keep the Camp Line adequately supplied for daily operations.
• Balance cash registers accurately and on time.
