About The Position

The Crew Member plays a key role in delivering outstanding guest service and preparing high-quality food. The position may work in front-of-house, back-of-house, or across both areas depending on business needs. Crew Members provide friendly service, prepare food to company standards, maintain food safety and cleanliness, operate kitchen equipment and point-of-sale systems as trained, and support efficient restaurant operations. Duties may change based on business needs. The role is with Jersey Mike’s, operated by Sizzling Platter LLC, in Madison, Wisconsin.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, engaging, and efficient service to guests in person and over the phone.
• Prepare food according to company standards, including slicing meats and cheeses, assembling subs, and preparing fresh ingredients.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment and point-of-sale systems as trained.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with prep work, restocking, and cleaning tasks.
• Adapt to varying responsibilities during shifts based on business needs.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.
