About The Position

As a Furniture Delivery Driver at Raymour & Flanigan, you help bring customers' furniture purchases to life and serve as the final step in the customer experience. You inspect, wrap, and load the truck to protect orders, then deliver and assemble furniture in customers' homes. You may perform minor touchups and place each item where the customer wants it, working with care, craftsmanship, and courtesy.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a qualified driving record.
• Successful completion of a DOT physical exam and MVR.
• Experience operating a 24–26 ft. straight/box truck.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Professionalism, patience, and courtesy during customer interactions.
• Physical ability to lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes, including pieces over 200 lbs., and navigate stairs, tight corners, and varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to Raymour & Flanigan's safety practices.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, wrap, and load furniture orders onto the truck to ensure they are protected for delivery.
• Deliver furniture to customers' homes.
• Assemble furniture at the delivery location.
• Perform minor furniture touchups when needed.
• Place furniture where the customer requests.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow company safety practices.
• Interact professionally, patiently, and courteously with customers, including in challenging situations.
