About The Position

As a Furniture Delivery Driver at Raymour & Flanigan, you help bring customers’ purchases to life and provide the final step in their customer experience. You inspect, wrap, and load the truck to protect orders, then deliver and assemble furniture in customers’ homes. You may perform minor touchups and place each item where the customer wants it. The role requires careful, courteous service and physical work, including handling furniture in varied home layouts and weather conditions.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a qualified driving record.
• Successful completion of a DOT physical exam and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
• Experience operating a 24–26 ft. straight/box truck.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Professionalism, patience, and courtesy during customer interactions, including challenging situations.
• Physical ability to lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes, including pieces over 200 lbs., while navigating stairs, tight corners, and varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to the company’s safety practices and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, wrap, and load the truck so orders are protected and ready for delivery.
• Deliver furniture to customers’ homes.
• Assemble furniture at the customer’s home.
• Perform minor furniture touchups when needed.
• Place furniture where the customer wants it.
• Follow the company’s safety practices and help maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Interact with customers professionally, patiently, and courteously.
