About The Position

Scan Design is hiring a non-CDL Furniture Assembly & Delivery Driver to transport luxury furniture from its warehouse to residential and commercial clients and complete professional on-site delivery and assembly. The driver represents the company and is expected to provide a luxury, white-glove service experience rather than high-volume drop-and-go deliveries. The role includes assembling furniture according to manufacturer specifications, carefully handling heavy items, and leaving clients’ homes clean after delivery.

Requirements

Three years of experience driving a box truck.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; an MVR check is required.
Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy furniture for 8 or more hours per day.
Strong verbal communication skills and a professional appearance.
Punctuality and ability to meet scheduled delivery windows.
Candidates receiving a conditional offer must undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

Safely operate an 18-foot box truck or similar vehicle, navigate local routes, and maintain a clean driving record.
Professionally assemble furniture according to manufacturer specifications.
Provide white-glove service and ensure clients are satisfied with the final setup.
Frequently maneuver, load, and unload items weighing up to 75 pounds, including on stairs and through tight hallways.
Inspect items for damage before and after assembly and promptly report discrepancies.
Maintain a clean workspace in clients’ homes and remove packaging materials after completion.
Follow safety and loss-prevention procedures.
