About The Position

WG&R Furniture is hiring a Furniture Delivery Driver Trainee to deliver furniture and bedding throughout Northeast Wisconsin as part of a two-person crew. Trainees learn from experienced drivers and receive training, with an opportunity to advance to a Delivery Driver role at a higher pay scale. No prior delivery experience is required. The position offers a four-day workweek with no weekends and starts at $19–$22 per hour, based on relevant experience. WG&R Furniture is 100% employee-owned and has served Northeast Wisconsin since 1946.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license; a CDL is not required.
• Clean driving record, with no more than three violations in the past three years.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Comfort carrying furniture up and down stairs and regularly lifting up to 100 pounds with a partner.
• Enjoys active work and takes pride in doing things correctly and paying attention to details.
• Comfortable working with customers and representing the organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture and bedding throughout Northeast Wisconsin as part of a two-person crew.
• Load, carry, and set up furniture in customers’ homes.
• Protect customers’ homes and products while providing a positive delivery experience.
