About The Position

Under general supervision, the Functional Systems Analyst-Human Resources formulates concepts for, develops, and supports the implementation and upgrade of the Human Resources System. The current assignment is located in San Diego, California, in the Integrated Technology Services department and division within the San Diego County Office of Education. Employees may be administratively reassigned to other locations based on organizational needs. The recruitment is open to applicants who meet the prescribed class requirements. Applications will be reviewed, and candidates whose qualifications most closely match the requirements may be invited to a competitive examination process. Examination components may include multiple-choice, oral, written, practical demonstration, performance, and/or technical evaluation of the application. Recruitment results will establish an eligibility list for the current vacancy and other vacancies in the classification for six months or until the list is terminated. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a post-offer background check and physical exam, including drug screening.

Requirements

A combination of education, training, and/or experience demonstrating the knowledge and abilities detailed in the job description.
A typical qualifying background includes five years of functional human resources work experience, including significant work within a human resources system.
