About The Position

The Dutch Farms Full-Service Account Manager performs work in selected grocery stores as directed by the Sales Manager. The role manages company product displays and store inventory, including checking shelves and back stock, rotating products, and preparing orders based on inventory levels, upcoming promotions, and display space. The Account Manager is also responsible for identifying products at risk of going out of date and notifying the dairy grocery or store manager about dated-item concerns.

Requirements

• Customer-service orientation and ability to communicate orally clearly and positively with customers.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to generate and maintain accurate, concise written records.
• After training, ability to understand each assigned store’s unique back-stock and product-display methods.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and rotate products; physical demand limit is generally 30–40 lbs, with occasional demands up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to speak, understand, read, and write reports in English using acceptable format and sentence and paragraph structure.
• Ability to work well in a team environment with a diverse group of people across the Dutch Farms business.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and be a productive worker.

Responsibilities

• Work in selected grocery stores as directed by the Sales Manager.
• Order, stock, and rotate company product displays.
• Take current shelf inventory in the store each day.
• Maintain inventory of the store’s back stock and move needed items to fill the shelves.
• Rotate stock so the newest product is the last product purchased.
• Write orders for the store’s next delivery based on current back-stock levels.
• Track and order products according to upcoming promotions and display space provided by the store.
• Monitor items at risk of going out of date and inform the dairy grocery or store manager when dated-item problems are observed.
