Full-Service Account Manager
About The Position
The Dutch Farms Full-Service Account Manager performs work in selected grocery stores as directed by the Sales Manager. The role maintains company products and displays, monitors store inventory, prepares orders for upcoming deliveries, and addresses products at risk of going out of date. The position requires regular communication with store personnel about dated items and working effectively with a diverse team across Dutch Farms/Good Foods. Requirements
- Customer-service orientation and ability to communicate orally with customers clearly and positively.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to generate and maintain accurate, concise written records.
- After training, ability to understand each assigned store’s method of backstocking and product displays.
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and rotate; the physical demand limit is generally 30–40 lbs, with occasional demands up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to speak, understand, read, and write in English, including writing reports using acceptable format and sentence and paragraph structure.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and with a diverse group of people across Dutch Farms.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and be productive.
Responsibilities
- Order, stock, and rotate company product displays in assigned grocery stores.
- Report to the store daily and take current shelf inventory.
- Monitor back stock and bring needed items into the store to fill shelves.
- Rotate stock so the newest product is the last product purchased.
- Write orders for the store’s next delivery based on current back-stock levels.
- Track and order products according to upcoming promotions and the display space provided by the store.
- Monitor products at risk of going out of date and inform the dairy grocery or store manager when dated-item problems are observed.
