About The Position

Mom’s Meals, a national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals, is hiring a Fulfillment Associate to pick, scan, and pack part of each customer’s order as it moves along the line. The work is fast-paced and takes place in a refrigerated environment for the entire shift. The first shift runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at $16.50 per hour. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a post-offer drug screen and background check, where permitted by law. The position is based inside a large warehouse that is protected from outside weather but maintained at 34–40 degrees Fahrenheit. Gloves are provided. Shifts may include weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Be able to stand or walk for up to 8–10 hours.
Be able to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Have a strong service orientation.
Be a team player and communicate well with others.
Be able to work independently with little supervision.
Have basic reading skills.
Pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience in warehouse distribution or a similar environment.

Responsibilities

Pick the correct items for cooler boxes, scan them appropriately, and pack items to complete the assigned portion of each customer’s order.
Follow strict safety, quality, and production standards.
Pay close attention to details such as reading labels and selecting products.
Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
Produce consistent, quality work.
Move products between locations in accordance with food sanitation and safety guidelines.
Assist with general housekeeping.
