About The Position

Montezuma Winery is hiring a Fudge Maker & Gift Shop Coordinator for a role combining hands-on fudge production, gift shop operations, and guest service. The fudge maker produces fudge and other confections according to recipes, ensuring consistent flavor, texture, and appearance while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The gift shop coordinator provides customer service, manages inventory, and keeps the shop clean and organized. The role is part-time with flexible availability on weekdays and weekends.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
Understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to manage food storage and stock levels.
Strong understanding of food safety practices.

Responsibilities

Mix, pour, cut, and wrap fudge for all locations as needed.
Stock supplies, organize ingredients, and keep the Fudge Kitchen clean and inviting.
Follow recipes and food safety standards to maintain product quality.
Arrange appealing fudge displays.
Assist with other tasks as needed, including preparing food and setting up for rewards parties and wine trail events when needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Greet customers entering the store.
Help customers find merchandise and purchase products in-store.
Receive and organize shipments.
Set up and break down merchandise displays.
Keep displays clean and stocked.
Keep the selling floor, back rooms, and inventory areas clean and organized.
