About The Position

Montezuma Winery is hiring an enthusiastic, dependable, and detail-oriented Fudge Maker/Gift Shop Coordinator. The role combines making fudge and other confections with gift shop operations and customer service. The fudge maker follows recipes to produce consistent products, including mixing, pouring, cutting, and wrapping fudge, while maintaining food safety and a clean work area. The gift shop coordinator welcomes customers, helps them find and purchase merchandise, manages shipments and displays, and keeps shop areas organized and stocked. The team member may also assist with food preparation and setup for rewards parties and wine trail events if needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
• Understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to manage food storage and stock levels.

Responsibilities

• Mix, pour, cut, and wrap fudge and other confections according to recipes.
• Produce fudge for all locations as needed while maintaining consistent flavor, texture, and appearance.
• Stock supplies, organize ingredients, and keep the Fudge Kitchen clean and inviting.
• Follow recipes and food safety standards.
• Arrange and maintain attractive fudge displays.
• Assist with food preparation and setup for rewards parties and wine trail events if needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Greet customers entering the store and help them find merchandise and purchase products.
• Receive and organize shipments.
• Set up and break down merchandise displays.
• Keep displays clean and stocked.
• Keep the selling floor, back rooms, and inventory areas clean and organized.
