About The Position

The FSQA Tech plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in a food manufacturing setting. The role involves inspecting products and plant systems, documenting and calculating results, and taking corrective action when necessary. The position is on the second shift in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in the food manufacturing industry or related Quality Assurance experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Skills to complete Tyson paperwork.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
• Good problem identification and problem-solving skills.
• Math and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
• Ability to function well under stress.
• Flexibility to work where and when needed.
• Willingness and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
• Ability to work in temperatures typically ranging from 30 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit and in wet environments.
• Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing, and pulling; reach high and low levels frequently; and climb step ladders or stairs.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Position requires Lock Out Tag Out certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.
• Document and calculate results accurately.
• Alert appropriate personnel to adjust processes when necessary.
• Identify, segregate, and isolate non-conforming products.
• Report results to management.
• Handle additional assignments as requested.
