About The Position

As an FSQA Tech, you will help ensure high standards of food safety and quality by inspecting products and plant systems, documenting results, and taking corrective action when needed. The role is in a food manufacturing environment and requires working in cold or hot temperatures, wet conditions, and on hard surfaces. The successful candidate must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in the food manufacturing industry or related Quality Assurance experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to complete Tyson paperwork.
Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
Good problem identification and problem-solving skills.
Math and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
Ability to function well under stress.
Flexibility to work where and when needed.
Willingness and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
Ability to work in temperatures typically ranging from 30–90 degrees Fahrenheit and in a wet environment.
Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing, and pulling; frequently reach high and low levels; and climb step ladders and/or stairs.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Position requires Lock Out Tag Out certification.
