About The Position

MOZZ Sourdough Pizza is looking for a confident, people-loving leader to join their team as an FOH Shift Lead. This role involves managing shifts, ensuring smooth service, keeping guests happy, and motivating the team. The ideal candidate will have solid food service experience, including leadership, a passion for food and drink, and the ability to lead a team with positivity and high standards.

Requirements

A few years of food service experience, including at least one in a leadership role
Strong communication + teamwork skills
Flexible scheduling, around 30-35 hours per week, nights and weekends. Sunday availability a must
A working knowledge of alcohol (especially beer and wine) (if applicable, not all stores sell alcohol)
Valid food handler and alcohol service permits (or willing to get them)
A passion for training, leading, and creating great guest experiences

Responsibilities

Run the floor with confidence and keep the vibes high
Make Schedule
Place orders
Work directly with Back of House team to ensure perfection of quality and consistency
Perform various tasks assigned by company leadership and ensure proper execution
Manage a team of 5-10 people
Lead alcohol service (beer + wine) like a pro—must be 21+ (if applicable, not all stores sell alcohol)
Handle customer concerns with ease and professionalism
Train and coach team members to deliver top-tier service
Keep things clean and safe by enforcing food safety + sanitation standards
Manage inventory and help ensure timely ordering
Communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and motivate your team
