About The Position

The Front Door Greeter performs merchandise protection procedures, monitors entrance and exit activity, and provides superior service to members. The role includes greeting members, assisting with concerns, following loss-prevention procedures, auditing designated services and transactions, and helping maintain a safe and positive club environment. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. The position is part-time.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to use a smart handheld device.
• Successful completion of required training and certification processes.
• Must have been employed with the company for at least 6 months.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement: 18, except Indiana (19) and Delaware (21).
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and thank members promptly and professionally; resolve concerns courteously and escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Follow merchandise protection procedures and shrink alert protocols, and maintain the AP Alert Binder according to standards.
• Follow BEST procedures by cross-checking merchandise against receipts, verifying high-value items, recording discrepancies, and notifying the front line to correct them.
• Audit Express Pay, BOPIC, Curbside Pick-up, and Same Day Delivery according to company procedures.
• Inspect known repack articles in accordance with repack awareness guidelines.
• Monitor member and visitor traffic entering and exiting the club.
• Respond to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alarms according to established procedures.
• Maintain safety standards for members and team members.
• Inspect team members’, members’, and vendors’ bags and other listed belongings as they leave the building.
• Process empty water jug return vouchers for members.
• Follow club policies and procedures, complete assigned duties, and work in other departments as needed.
• Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and contribute to daily GOLD member and club standards.
