About The Position

The Front Door Greeter performs merchandise protection procedures, monitors entrance and exit activity, and provides superior customer service to members. The role supports club policies, procedures, and compliance while helping maintain a safe, positive environment and meeting daily GOLD Member and Club Standards. The position also requires regular, predictable, full attendance and may involve working in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to use a smart handheld device.
• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Must have been employed with the company for at least 6 months.
• Must be at least 18 years old, except Indiana requires at least 19 and Delaware requires at least 21.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and thank members promptly and professionally, and resolve concerns courteously, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Follow merchandise protection procedures and shrink alert protocols, and maintain the AP Alert Binder according to AP standards.
• Follow BEST procedures, cross-check merchandise against member register receipts, verify high-dollar items, and record register receipt discrepancies for prompt correction.
• Audit Express Pay, BOPIC, Curbside Pick-up, and Same Day Delivery according to company procedures.
• Inspect known repack articles and follow repack awareness guidelines.
• Monitor member and visitor traffic entering and exiting the club.
• Respond to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alarms according to established procedures.
• Inspect team members', members', and vendors' bags, backpacks, briefcases, and lunch boxes as they leave the building.
• Process empty water jug return vouchers for members.
• Maintain safety standards and follow all club policies and procedures.
• Work as a team to meet GOLD Member and Club Standards, maintain a friendly and positive attitude, and support a safe and inclusive environment.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
