About The Position
We are seeking a friendly and professional individual to join our team as a Front Desk associate at Candlewood Suites - Shelbyville. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing excellent customer service to enhance their stay. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- familiarity with reservation software is a plus
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage reservations and respond to guest inquiries both in person and over the phone
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and payments
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and guest needs are met
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining the front desk area
