About The Position
Vitalant is seeking a customer-focused Front Desk Representative/Donor Relations Specialist to support its life-saving mission at a local donation center. The role greets donors and provides education about blood and blood product donation procedures, helps ensure donor comfort, answers pre-donation questions, and schedules donors’ next appointments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist donor services staff by addressing donor questions and monitoring donor wait times.
- Retain current donors by scheduling their next donation appointment.
- Educate donors on additional collection techniques to optimize donation opportunities.
- Administer customer service and marketing surveys to donors.
- Review and enhance frequent donor programs and collection technologies, including automated technologies, to optimize donation opportunities.
