About The Position

Aiden By Best Western is hiring a part-time Front Desk/Night Audit team member, starting at $16.00 per hour, with pay depending on experience. Raises and commission are based on performance. The schedule is three to four days per week. The role handles guest reservations and transactions, provides customer service, coordinates with other departments, maintains work areas, and follows property security and company procedures. Team members must be willing to perform other tasks requested by management, including working flexible hours.

Requirements

• Identify and resolve guest issues quickly and attentively.

Responsibilities

• Manage guest reservations, including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations made online or by phone.
• Process credit card and cash transactions.
• Coordinate with other departments to provide a high level of service.
• Prepare daily activity reports and make deposit drops.
• Keep the lobby and work area clean and well maintained, including assigned weekly deep cleaning.
• Conduct property and pool checks.
• Occasionally ship or receive packages.
• Manage incoming customer calls.
• Use sales skills to book new reservations, including discussing rates and availability.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the property, including room types, amenities, and breakfast service.
• Interact with guests in person and over the phone with an approachable, hospitable demeanor.
• Follow handbook procedures to ensure guest security.
• Follow company policies in the handbook, including dress code, reliability, and reporting to the manager.
• Perform other tasks requested by management, including working flexible hours.
