About The Position

Drybar Sarasota is hiring an experienced, outgoing, customer-focused Front Desk Coordinator, referred to as a Bartender by the shop, to manage the front desk and support sales and guest experience. The role is based at Drybar Sarasota Midtown or Drybar Sarasota at UTC. It combines appointment-book management, hospitality, sales, point-of-sale transactions, and support for shop cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment. Full-time and part-time options are available.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be comfortable standing for 6–8 hour shifts.
• Be available to work weekends.
• Manage busy appointment schedules and resolve timing conflicts.
• Be confident using point-of-sale systems.
• Have a goal-oriented sales mindset and enjoy sharing product knowledge and selling memberships.
• Remain calm, professional, and effective while multitasking under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2+ years of experience in a salon, spa, high-end retail, or hospitality front desk environment; preferred but not required.
• Experience with salon management software such as Zenoti, Mindbody, Boulevard, or Millennium.

Responsibilities

• Manage appointment schedules efficiently, maximize stylist booking capacity, and handle walk-ins and cancellations to maintain shop flow.
• Greet clients warmly and provide high-touch hospitality as their first and last impression of the shop.
• Educate clients about memberships, service add-ons, and styling products, matching recommendations to guest needs.
• Handle check-in and check-out, process point-of-sale transactions accurately, and keep the front desk pristine.
• Help maintain shop cleanliness and organization to support a seamless client experience.
