About The Position

Equinox is seeking energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Front Desk Associates to support its luxury health and wellness club environment. The role focuses on creating a welcoming experience for members, prospective members, and guests while maintaining high standards of customer service and workplace organization. Associates may assist other departments with related tasks as needed. The position requires flexibility to work opening, closing, and mid-day shifts.

The role requires the ability to perform physical activities that may include standing for long periods, sitting, constant walking, squatting, stooping, reaching, and bending above and below shoulder height. Associates must also be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time. The position pays $17.00 per hour. Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly.
• Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, via email, and via phone.
• Ability to work opening, closing, and mid-day shifts.
• Ability to perform the essential physical aspects of the position, including standing for long periods, sitting, constant walking, squatting, stooping, reaching, and bending above and below shoulder height.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must have a legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Professionally greet members and guests.
• Scan membership IDs when members enter.
• Answer phones professionally.
• Respond to member questions, concerns, and discrepancies.
• Update members’ accounts when needed.
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
• Tour members.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Assist other departments with related tasks.
