About The Position

Equinox is seeking energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Front Desk Associates to contribute to its luxury health, wellness, and hospitality experience. The role focuses on welcoming members and guests, providing a high level of customer service, responding to questions and concerns, and helping maintain an orderly and clean work area. Associates may work opening, closing, or mid-day shifts and assist other departments with related tasks. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support department operations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service or related experience.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly.
• Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by email, and by phone.
• Ability to perform essential physical aspects of the position, including standing for long periods, sitting, constantly walking, squatting, stooping, reaching, and bending above and below shoulder height.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Professionally greet members and guests.
• Scan members’ membership IDs upon entrance.
• Answer phones professionally.
• Respond to member questions, concerns, and discrepancies.
• Update members’ accounts when needed.
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
• Tour members.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Assist other departments with related tasks.
