About The Position
Equinox is seeking energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Front Desk Associates to join its team. The role supports a growing organization by welcoming members and guests, providing customer service, answering questions, maintaining member accounts, and helping keep the work area orderly and clean. Associates may assist other departments with related tasks and must be able to work opening, closing, or midday shifts and tour members. The position pays $18.47. The listed physical requirements may include standing for long periods, sitting, constantly walking, squatting, stooping, reaching, bending above and below shoulder height, and pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Equinox offers a complimentary club membership and perks and incentives on products and services, including Personal Training, Pilates, Spa, and Shop. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support department operations. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of customer service or related experience.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly.
- Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing.
- Able to communicate effectively in person, via email, and via phone.
- Able to perform essential physical requirements, including standing for long periods, sitting, constantly walking, squatting, stooping, reaching, and bending above and below shoulder height.
- Able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
- Professionally greet members and guests.
- Scan membership IDs as members enter.
- Answer phones professionally.
- Respond to member questions, concerns, and discrepancies.
- Update members’ accounts when needed.
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
- Work opening, closing, or midday shifts.
- Tour members.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
- Assist other departments with related tasks.
