About The Position
The Courtyard by Marriott Hillsboro is hiring Front Desk Agents for swing-shift and night-audit shifts. Front desk agents serve as the first point of contact for guests and contribute to the service and guest experience associated with the Marriott brand. The role requires reliability, a service-minded approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Swing-shift hours are 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and night-audit hours are 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. The position is full-time, pays $18.50 per hour, and requires availability for weekends and holidays. Swing-shift agents welcome guests; manage check-ins, check-outs, and reservations; answer phones and respond to guest requests; resolve concerns in coordination with housekeeping and maintenance; and handle payments and end-of-shift balancing. Night-audit agents run the nightly audit, balance daily revenue and transactions, prepare management reports, provide overnight front-desk service, and monitor the lobby and property for guest safety and security.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hotel front-desk experience.
- Friendly, dependable, and calm under pressure.
- Basic computer skills.
- For night audit, comfort with numbers and working independently.
- Availability for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Nice To Haves
- Marriott brand experience preferred.
- Hotel or customer-service experience is a plus; training will be provided to the right person.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and handle check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
