About The Position

The Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel and provides superior service to all guests. The role is with the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Nearest Universal Orlando, a 184-room property owned and managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates. The agent welcomes guests, handles check-in and check-out using the property management system, responds to requests, shares information about hotel services and amenities, and takes and maintains reservations. Professional attire is required. The schedule is afternoon shift, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., with weekend and holiday work as needed.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving history, subject to company approval.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience in a hotel setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of Holiday Inn (IHG) systems is ideal.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Computer knowledge, including intranet, property management systems, Word, and Excel, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete check-in and check-out procedures through the property management system, obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handle cash, credit card information, and goods at the property.
• Identify guests’ needs and provide relevant information about hotel services and amenities.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely manner.
• Take reservations from incoming callers, provide excellent service, and enter information into the hotel management system.
• Update and cancel reservations in the system as requested by guests.
• Dress in professional attire.
