About The Position

Home2 Suites by Hilton is seeking a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as guests’ first point of contact and manage aspects of their accommodations. The hotel has 108 rooms and is located at 524 Aviation Road, Queensbury, NY 12804. The role helps create a pleasant and memorable guest stay by handling check-in and check-out, reservations, guest inquiries, and coordination with housekeeping. Requirements

Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar role; the employer states, “We train!”

Responsibilities

Work the 3pm–11pm shift.
Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
Manage online and phone reservations.
Inform customers about payment methods and verify credit card data.
Register guests and collect necessary information, including contact details and exact stay dates.
Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms.
Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
Respond to client complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs.
Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, such as wedding guests.
Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate.
Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
