About The Position

The Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor performs night audit operations to maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with hotel standards. The role coordinates with departments such as Security and Housekeeping to support quality guest service. The position is with the Westin Poinsett, Greenville, a historic downtown hotel in HEI Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio.

Requirements

Basic mathematical skills and ability to make accurate calculations using a 10-key.
Ability to address guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
Ability to access and accurately enter information using a moderately complex computer system.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.

Hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes and journals and breaking down revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out, and settlements by type and cashier.
Run audit reports and journals from the front office system, Point of Service, and computer.
Make corrections and adjustments and handle computer problems that occur during the shift.
Enter revenue, expenses, and allowances into the front office system to generate daily reports, including the Guest Ledger Summary and Daily Restaurant Summary.
Balance revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for the next day's operations.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
