About The Position

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a fast-casual restaurant serving Hawaiian plate lunches and island specialties, with more than 120 locations across California and Arizona. The company emphasizes freshly prepared food, exceptional service, and Hawaii’s culture and Aloha spirit.

As a Front Crew member, you help provide a positive dining experience by serving customers, taking and processing orders, and helping maintain a clean and safe restaurant. The role may be part-time or full-time. Duties may include other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes, safety procedures, company policies and procedures, and the Front Crew Training Guideline.
• Greet customers, provide customer service, and assist with orders.
• Promote marketing promotions and new product items to customers.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handle payments, and serve food to customers.
• Complete cashier closing and daily closing procedures at the end of each shift or day.
• Keep the store clean by completing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
