About The Position

As a Front Crew member at Ono Hawaiian BBQ, you help ensure a positive dining experience by providing customer service, taking orders, using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, and maintaining a clean and safe restaurant environment. The role includes cashiering, serving food, promoting offerings, and completing closing and cleaning tasks. The position may be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficient English written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health codes, safety procedures, company policies and procedures, and the Front Crew Training Guideline.
• Greet customers, provide customer service, and assist customers with their orders.
• Promote marketing promotions and new product items to customers.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handle payments, and serve food to customers.
• Perform cashier closing and daily closing procedures at the end of each shift or day.
• Maintain store cleanliness by performing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
