About The Position

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a fast-casual restaurant specializing in Hawaiian plate lunches and island specialties, with more than 120 locations across California and Arizona. The company prepares food from scratch daily and aims to bring Hawaiian culture and the “Aloha” spirit to its restaurants through exceptional service and an inviting atmosphere.

As a Front Crew member, you help provide customers with a positive dining experience. The role includes customer service, taking orders, operating the POS system, serving food, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The position may be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with the Front Crew Training Guideline.
• Greet customers, provide customer service, and assist with orders.
• Promote marketing promotions and new product items to customers.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handle payments, and serve food to customers.
• Perform cashier closing and daily closing procedures at the end of each shift or day.
• Maintain store cleanliness by performing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
