About The Position

The Fresh Pack Coordinator (Fruit & Veggie Cutter) supports the Produce Manager in preparing and maintaining fresh-pack products and in providing courteous customer service. The role includes assisting with product ordering, receiving, and display; preparing and packaging fresh produce; maintaining freshness and quality; and ensuring food safety and sanitation procedures are followed. The coordinator also assists with training fresh-pack associates and maintains a clean workstation and department. The position requires on-site attendance during scheduled shifts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks.
• Ability to interact regularly with individuals at various levels.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts in accordance with company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, courteous customer service and help create a friendly, positive, and fun environment through teamwork and flexibility.
• Assist the Produce Manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products for processing.
• Rotate merchandise when stocking to maintain freshness and quality.
• Set up and maintain cut-vegetable and cut-fruit sections, trim corn, and package salad tomatoes as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Follow and enforce company food-safety policies, procedures, and program requirements.
• Order supplies as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Assist with and coordinate training of fresh-pack associates as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Maintain the quality and freshness of fresh-pack products.
• Maintain required COOL labels daily.
• Trim and package fresh produce.
• Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean.
• Sanitize and clean the department at least twice daily.
• Attend on-site work during scheduled shifts and follow company time and attendance policies.
