About The Position

The Fresh Pack Coordinator supports the Produce Manager in maintaining fresh-pack products and delivering courteous, efficient customer service. The role includes preparing and displaying cut fruits and vegetables, maintaining product freshness and food safety, assisting with ordering and supplies, and coordinating training for fresh-pack associates. The position requires on-site work during scheduled shifts and maintaining a clean, sanitized workstation and department.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to interact with various levels of individuals daily.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts in accordance with company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service; greet and speak with customers.
• Maintain a positive, friendly, and fun working environment through flexibility and teamwork.
• Assist the Produce Manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products for processing.
• Rotate merchandise when stocking to maintain freshness and quality.
• Set up and maintain cut vegetable and cut fruit sections; trim corn and package salad tomatoes as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Follow food safety policies and procedures and enforce and maintain the company food safety program.
• Order supplies as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Assist with and coordinate training of fresh-pack associates as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Maintain the quality and freshness of fresh-pack products.
• Ensure items requiring a COOL label are labeled and maintained daily.
• Trim and package fresh produce.
• Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean; sanitize and clean the department at least twice daily.
• Attend on-site work during scheduled shifts in accordance with company time and attendance policies.
