About The Position

Conagra Brands is hiring for a General Labor Fresh Pack to help produce Birds Eye products at their Darien, WI manufacturing facility. This role involves working a night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and requires meeting physical and communication requirements to perform all duties safely. The position follows food handling, packaging, and good manufacturing practices, including HACCP, bloodborne pathogens control, and allergen control. Responsibilities include inspecting products, stopping production for serious deviations, assisting operators with startup, changeover, and shutdown, and working as part of a production team with reliable attendance. The work is seasonal, with 12-hour shifts per day.

Requirements

Follow written and verbal instructions
Lift up to 50 pounds
Standing and sitting for up to 12 hours
Meet physical requirements to perform all duties safely
Meet the communication requirements to perform all duties

Responsibilities

Follow food handling and packaging practices
Follow safe working practices
Follow good manufacturing practices
Follow HACCP
Visually inspect products and ingredients from blemishes or other flaws, extraneous vegetable materials or discolored units
Stop production to report any serious deviation from requirements, or malfunction of line equipment
Assist operators with startup process, change over and shut down of production
Follow bloodborne pathogens control and practices
Follow allergen control and practices
Be a part of the production team
Maintain reliable/consistent attendance and attention to duties
