About The Position

As a Fresh Cut Produce Clerk, you will prepare fresh fruits and vegetables by slicing, dicing, and packaging produce. You will check produce for freshness, maintain clean and organized preparation areas, and create attractive displays for customers. The role also involves assisting with inventory management, restocking, and customer service. It is an active, fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys working with food, maintains a positive attitude, and works well as part of a team.

Requirements

• Prior experience in grocery, food service, or produce preparation is preferred.
• Comfort using knives and other preparation tools safely and precisely.
• Ability to identify quality produce and follow food safety and handling guidelines.
• Friendly, helpful attitude and ability to communicate clearly with customers.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to support fellow associates and work as part of a team.
