About The Position

The Fresh Pack Coordinator supports the Produce Manager in preparing, maintaining, and displaying fresh-pack fruit and vegetable products. The role emphasizes courteous, customer-first service and a friendly, positive work environment. Responsibilities include keeping products fresh and properly labeled, following food-safety procedures, maintaining a clean and sanitized work area, and assisting with the training of fresh-pack associates. The position requires on-site attendance during scheduled shifts.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to interact regularly with individuals at various levels.
• Ability to work on-site during scheduled shifts in accordance with company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service and help create a friendly, positive, and fun working environment.
• Assist the Produce Manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products for processing.
• Rotate merchandise when stocking to maintain freshness and quality.
• Set up and maintain cut vegetable and cut fruit sections, trim corn, and package salad tomatoes as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Follow food-safety policies and procedures and help enforce and maintain the company food-safety program.
• Order supplies as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Assist with and coordinate fresh-pack associate training as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Maintain the quality and freshness of fresh-pack products.
• Ensure items requiring a COOL label are labeled and maintained daily.
• Trim and package fresh produce.
• Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean.
• Sanitize and clean the department at least twice daily.
• Attend work on-site during scheduled shifts in accordance with company time and attendance policies.
