Requirements

  • Native or fluent proficiency in French — both spoken and written — is essential for this role, as all content moderation tasks will be conducted in the French language.
  • Valid EU passport or appropriate work authorisation permitting full-time employment in Greece (mandatory).
  • A genuine interest in social media platforms, digital communities, and online content ecosystems is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound, objective judgements under pressure and within time-sensitive environments.
  • Excellent attention to detail, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to handle exposure to potentially distressing or graphic content in a professional and resilient manner.
  • Good working knowledge of English to facilitate internal communications, training sessions, and team collaboration within a multicultural workplace environment.
  • Previous experience in content moderation, customer support, trust and safety, or a related social media role is advantageous, though not strictly required — full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Review, assess, and moderate user-generated content submitted on social media platforms in French, ensuring strict compliance with community guidelines and platform policies.
  • Identify and escalate harmful, inappropriate, or policy-violating content — including hate speech, misinformation, graphic material, and spam — in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Engage with and support the French-speaking user community by responding to content-related queries, appeals, and feedback with clarity and professionalism.
  • Monitor social media trends, emerging content risks, and culturally sensitive topics relevant to French-speaking audiences to inform moderation decisions.
  • Accurately log moderation actions, document content violations, and maintain detailed records in line with internal reporting procedures and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Trust & Safety, Quality Assurance, and Training to continuously refine content moderation workflows.
  • Participate in regular calibration sessions, coaching, and training updates to stay current with evolving social media platform policies and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a positive, inclusive, and safe digital environment across social media channels, upholding the platform's values and user trust.
