About The Position
Language Services Associates is seeking French Canadian interpreters in the Sainte-Marie, Quebec area. As a member of LSA’s network of independently contracted interpreters, you will facilitate language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA continuously accepts qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments.
Requirements
- Full fluency in both English and French Canadian.
- Ability to provide a high level of client service.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of professional interpreting experience.
- Industry-specific certifications or training, such as CMI or CCHI.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service.
- Follow the Code of Professional Conduct, including strict confidentiality standards.
- Follow all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry-specific best practices.
- Meet client-requested clearance requirements.
- Report on site promptly for accepted assignments.
- Have access to personal or public transportation.
