About The Position

Five Below is seeking a part-time Freight Team associate to support store operations and provide a positive customer experience. Requirements

• Able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
• Able to identify and understand email and printed instructions concerning merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly, assist them, and manage multiple customer interactions efficiently.
• Assess customer needs, provide product information, answer questions, direct customers to merchandise, and make recommendations using suggestive selling.
• Stay informed about product availability and promote store events, promotions, and special activities.
• Address customer concerns and use product knowledge to suggest solutions, including exchanges where possible.
• Inform management about restocking needs, service requirements, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Operate the cash register and support seamless checkout.
• Keep merchandise organized and the sales floor stocked.
• Move merchandise and retrieve or put away stock, including using ladders and traveling between the sales floor and stock room.
• Follow merchandise-layout instructions, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
