About The Position

Sparkle Grooming Corp. is seeking an Operational Field Leader (OFL), also described as a Franchise Business Consultant (FBC), to own field execution across its growing franchise system. The role ensures salons open on time, operate to standards, and deliver consistent, safe, exceptional experiences for pets, clients, and franchisees. The OFL is a hands-on operator and coach who works directly with franchisees and salon leaders to drive compliance with Sparkle’s operating standards while building trust-based partnerships. The role connects corporate strategy with in-salon execution by translating standards into daily practice and maintaining accountability. It requires balancing support and accountability, giving direct feedback with empathy, and working effectively in fast-paced, multi-unit environments. The position leads field execution of Sparkle’s DOG standards (Delight the Client, Operational Excellence, Grow the Business), conducts salon visits and assessments, guides new salon openings, coaches operators, reinforces safety and quality, and partners with corporate teams to improve standards, training, processes, playbooks, and tools. Regular travel to field locations is required. This is not a remote position; the work environment includes home, field, and office.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of multi-unit operations leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to coach, influence, and hold operators accountable without direct authority.
  • Experience supporting unit openings and/or rapid operational scaling.
  • Strong business acumen, including the ability to review performance metrics and identify operational opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to be clear, direct, and empathetic.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities across a distributed field.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to support field locations.
  • Passion for pets and commitment to safe, high-quality care.

  • Lead franchisees through salon openings, ensuring readiness across operations, staffing, training, and safety.
  • Support opening-week execution and early-stage stabilization.
  • Serve as the primary field leader during openings and coordinate with internal teams as needed.
