About The Position

The Framer builds customer relationships by creating memorable framing solutions for customers’ art, while also helping customers find products in the store. The role helps maintain a safe, clean, clutter-free, well-merchandised, and in-stock store environment. The Framer completes framing orders accurately, with high quality, and on time, and supports store operations including replenishment, stocking, checkout, and omnichannel processes.

This position is based in a public retail store. Public areas are climate controlled, while some stock rooms may not be. Some outdoor work may be assigned, such as retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. The frame shop includes a glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and a glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and company programs, policies, and standards, and comply with applicable laws and requirements.
• Use Elevated ABC Deliver and personal design skills to build customer relationships and create custom framing solutions; deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Provide friendly customer service, help customers locate products and find what they need, and offer solutions.
• Maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store and a safe, clean, clutter-free environment.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with others respectfully, remain positive in difficult situations, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a positive role model.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking, following truck standards and completing the work within budget.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash according to standards.
• Assist with omnichannel processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
