About The Position

The Framer builds customer relationships and creates memorable custom framing solutions for customers’ art. The role also helps customers find products, supports store operations, and maintains a safe, clean, clutter-free, well-merchandised environment. The position includes completing framing orders to a high standard and on time, assisting with sales and production results, and supporting stocking, cash handling, safety, and omnichannel processes.

The role is based in a public retail store. Public areas are climate controlled, while some stock rooms may not be. Some outdoor work may be required when retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. The frame shop contains a glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and a glass cutter.
• Ability to regularly bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch; move throughout the store; and stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and frames and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Company programs, policies, and standards to comply with applicable laws and requirements.
• Use Elevated ABC Deliver to build customer relationships and create custom framing solutions; deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Provide friendly customer service, help customers find products, and maintain a well-merchandised and in-stock store.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive in difficult situations, and promote the organization’s vision and values.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking while following truck standards and budget requirements.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash according to standards.
• Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
• Assist with omnichannel processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
